weather forcast and wildfire prevention tip

LOOKING AT A BETTER CHANCE OF WETTING RAINS ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE
MOUNTAINS THROUGH THURSDAY. MOST LOCATIONS WILL BE SEE UP TO A
QUARTER INCH...WITH LESS IN THE PIEDMONT. THE FRONT THAT WILL BE
CAUSING THIS SWINGS THROUGH THE FORECAST AREA THURSDAY. AS THE LOW
STRENGTHENS OFF THE NORTHEAST COAST THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY...WINDS WILL BE INCREASING FROM THE NORTHWEST.
HOWEVER...MUCH COOLER AIR ALSO POURS IN KEEPING HUMIDITY LEVELS
FROM PLUMMETING LIKE WE HAD EARLIER IN THE WEEK. THE NORTHWEST
WINDS WILL BE DRYING THINGS OUT INTO SATURDAY...AND TEMPERATURES
WILL SLOWLY MODERATE BACK TO AROUND OR ABOVE NORMAL EARLY NEXT WEEK.

Wildfire Prevention Tip of the Blog

Firewise Use of Motorized Vehicles

Be observant of the surrounding area whenever you are driving in a forested area. Parking your vehicle or allowing your vehicle to "idle" on dead leaves or brush can ignite a widlfire.

Please be extra careful this fall !!!

Thanks!
